Ashley is a Licensed Psychological Associate. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University in 2015 and her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Western Carolina University in 2019. Since this time, she has worked with children, adults, groups, and families in a variety of settings, including substance abuse inpatient facilities, Assertive Community Treatment Team serving clients with severe and persistent mental illness, and mobile crisis work.
Ashley treats a broad range of clinical concerns, but has particular interests in working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and domestic violence. She utilizes evidenced-based treatment modalities including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. Ashley’s goal is to foster a strong, egalitarian relationship with each of her clients in order to promote growth and work through challenging situations. Ashley offers a non-judgemental safe space to each of her clients and utilizes many elements of positive psychology to also empower and build resilience in clients.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys weight training and practicing her culinary skills.
