Bethany Lindemuth, LCSW is an experienced clinical social worker who has worked in the counseling field for 20 years. She uses a compassionate and strengths-based approach to empower individuals, adolescents, and families to adapt to challenges and personal life issues. Mental and physical health are directly linked, and Bethany helps to assist with improving overall wellness.
Bethany specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and adjustment to life changes. She also works with individuals dealing with disordered eating, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma and PTSD, agoraphobia, trichotillomania, chronic pain, borderline personality disorder, and conflict in relationships. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
Bethany recently moved to the Triangle with a desire to experience the culture and opportunities that are available here. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Social Work degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. With a focus on education, she continues to take classes and learn about new treatments and approaches to assist people with living more fulfilling lives.
